Rain

There's rainwear and rainwear. Poor rainwear is about as much use as an umbrella with holes in it. Europe's Solheim Cup team has for the second year in a row, chosen Pitch from abacus. An expert panel of judges at Europe's largest golf trade show named Pitch as the best functional golf wear, which says it all.

In abacus rain you will find rainwear for sports as well as everyday use. The European standard for waterproofness is 1500 mm. We have set our minimum level at 5 000 mm and for the more extreme rainwear 15 000 mm. Abacus waterproofs/rainwear have sealed seams, high breathability and are designed for maximum freedom of movement and are very easy to put on and take off.

THE PITCH PROGRAM

The new Pitch rain hood jacket is in full stretch with a detachable hood, more adjustable details and a nice fit. In the pitch program you will find the hood jacket, a plain jacket, an anorak, and two different pair of trousers.

New for the 2009 collection was the Pitch Europe stretch rain jacket, a rain jacket with features like laser cut contrast details and shaped sleeves for better comfort . The rain jacket has taped seams, removable sleeves and many other adjustment possibilities.

The Pitch rain jacket won Europe Product Awards in the category Clothing Function at the golf trade show Golf Europe in Munich 7-8th of October 2007. The show is the largest in Europe and Abacus won the prize for the Pitch program.

LANARK RAIN TRENCH COAT

A retro inspired trench coat in a modern cut made for everyday life as well as rainy, windy conditions. The fabric is checked in a sulphur yellow colour with silver threads, and is also available in black. The trench coat is waterproof with sealed seams, breathable, windproof and made in a polyester fabric. Functional with features like inner lycra cuffs, detachable hood and reflective details with logo.

CANMORE RAIN JACKET AND TROUSERS

 A rain jacket with the looks of a regular sporty jacket in soft polyester. The fabric is water repellent and the lining is waterproof, and this combination creates a softer feeling than a typical rain jacket. 8 000 waterproofness /8 000 breathable with sealed seams, windproof and two year guarantee.
