Sunshine and blue skies at the Olympics

Photographer Adrian Dennis reports from the olympics in Vancouver:

"The Olympics is more than half way through, the weather has changed but still no snow. There's been sunshine and blue skies for the last few days, making the working conditions much easier. "Nice light" gives us photographers many more options. One of the highlights so far was to see the American Shaun White compete in the Men's Halfpipe. It's truly amazing to see someone soar over your head, perform a few twists and the odd somersault and land back in the halfpipe ready for the next trick. He truly does excel at his sport.
The next event I need to focus on is the aerial ski competition, another spectacular event to watch. But the long days and physical nature of the work is catching up. The legs are beginning to ache, my eyes are tired. All my colleagues looks the same. In fact, it's part of the job - it's a small price to pay for being fortunate enough to witness these sporting spectacles."
